Sounds Like A Storm – MCR
7th November 2019 - 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Sounds Like A Storm plus guests
Sounds Like A Storm are the rapturous Leeds-based indie-rock ensemble comprised of Sennen Ludman, Joseph Schofield, Cormac Connelly and Connor Passey. Drawing influence from bands such as Pretty Vicious, The Strokes and Stereophonics, they have become known and respected throughout the UK for their dedicated work ethic, articulated sound and galvanising live shows.
Three studio singles in, SLAS are working tirelessly to perfect an increasingly rapidly growing catalogue of pure gritty voraciousness, in the form of intense drums, intricate riffs and deeply encapsulating breakdowns.
Sounds Like A Storm have taken their lyrical renaissance of topics that matter to vivacious crowds at Live at Leeds, Tramlines and the BBC Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. SLAS have also supported the likes of Twisted Wheel, King No-One, The Blinders, Judas and more with no sign of slowing down.
