Being over 9,000 miles away from the Australian bushfires can make it seem as though there is not much you can do to help during this awful disaster. However, this February a gig is being held to raise funds to support the charities who are helping with the short- and long-term effects of the fires. The money raised from the ticket sales will be donated to the following charities; Australian Red Cross, Salvation Army Australia and WIRES.

The event will consist of a variety of Liverpool and Warrington based artists all specialising in different genres of music, each act agreed to perform without a fee in order to aid the cause. The artists performing at this event are:

• The Personas (indie rock band)
• Ambedo Blue (indie rock band)
• Talkfield (neo soul/funk band)
• The Blue Room (7-piece indie pop band)
• G33 (DJ)

Jimmy’s Liverpool were extremely eager to host the event at their venue and cover the costs themselves as they were passionate about the issue!

Jimmy’s is located at 130 Bold Street, L1 4JA and the event is happening in their basement.
