Cal Ruddy plus guests Hegarty

Cal has been playing his Rockabilly, Americana influenced country fussed musical style around the Liverpool scene over the past 5 years and has built up a large following of loyal supporters.

Cal was invited on a song writing trip to Nashville USA to write and record with the late Blue Millar the Grammy winning songwriter Producer to stars such as John Legend and India Arie alongside Nashville songwriter producer Allen McKendree Palmer in the summer of 2018. The songs are included on the debut album from Cal titled Elliston Place (released Nov 2019) recorded and produced in Liverpool by Stephen Powell who has produced albums for Space, The Stairs, Oceanic, Top, and Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band…..

A string of singles and Eps will be released from the album in 2020.

Cal Ruddy and his Band will be touring the UK and the USA in 2020 and performing on a number of UK Festivals to promote releases from his new album.

Cal was winner of the Best Live Entertainment Award at The Liverpool Lifestyle Awards 2019 for his Live show that has been reviewed as both Dynamic and Energetic. Cal has already been championed by BBC introducing and Radio City with a string of records being played, Cal has had feature interviews and performances on ITV and Channel 5.

Cal also had a Live in Flight performance on Blue Air Airways at 38,000ft streamed on YouTube TV and was filmed for a live performance on Merseyrail sound performance.
