Hailing from Rhyl in North Wales, Finnlay is the newest voice in the UK Indie Pop scene. Synth-infused, guitar-driven choruses and introspective lyrics have drawn comparisons to the likes of Blossoms and Dermot Kennedy.

Part of the juggernaut that is the Have A Word Podcast, Finnlay has been steadily building up a back catalogue of original indie songs, receiving radio play from BBC Radio Wales, XS Manchester and Capital FM.

Newest single ‘Take A Ride’ is a breath of fresh air, a summery antidote to the cold winter months. Inspired by some of Finnlay’s more alternative influences, this new single sees a shift to a more modern and chilled sound. Collaborating with the Blue Dolphin Wranglers, ‘Take A Ride’ hits you immediately with an infectious chorus that feels like an immediate dopamine hit, sending the listener surfing through the rest of the track.
