LE EMU TAVERN

Ste and Cerys invite y’all to a very special hometown hoedown at Jimmy’s where they will burn through the Le Emu Tavern songbook new and old. Soaring anthems of social justice, love, antifascism and dogs “delivered in a pseudo, almost cheerful manner, irrespective of subject matter” (Scootering Magazine).

Gary Reddin at Mersey Radio described their latest single ‘The Master Race Made a Big Mistake (When They Came to Our Town)’ as a “brilliant, brilliant tune” and there will be plenty more where that came from among the new songs at this Le Emu Tavern’s first Liverpool show since Lockdown.
SOME TIME TODAY
Some Time Today are a Punk Pop four-piece from Burscough in Lancashire who began performing in May 2014.

The four lads are heavily influenced by American bands Blink-182 and Green Day and have made several radio appearances including BBC Introducing.
Some Time Today are made up of Tom (vocals and rhythm guitar), Mike (lead guitar), Finchy (bass) and Toby (drums).

In July 2017 Some Time Today released their debut album ‘Better Late than Never’ followed by the EPs ‘Christmas Time Today’ and ‘Slip Hazard!’ They are currently working on their second album.

LIAM SWEENEY

Liam Sweeney burst onto the Liverpool acoustic scene last year with his fantastic original songs. NHS worker by day, rock star by night.
