Across the dive bars of Le Pigalle and the art houses of the Eleventh Arrondissement, four friends who embody the French spirit of Liberté, Egalité…and the right to party, come together from across the continent, to coalesce as Monitors. Their debut EP “The War Office”, a nod to the famous Liverpool lounge in Ye Cracke, has already turned heads at the illustrious Rolling Stone magazine, with its deft blend of electro and post-punk tracks. Not resting on their laurels and armed with their latest release “Live at MorsanGang”, the band are crossing the Channel for a series of live shows across the UK, to celebrate the release and close out the year with their debut Liverpool show.
Pleasure Island come to you via Liverpool’s eclectic Smithdown Road scene, having made their own mark on the year, with their followup single “Priory”. The song has turned heads across radio land, earning coveted spins from Jim Gelatly (Amazing Radio) and a top 5 pick from Fresh on The Net’s Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6). Making the most of the ability to move freely outdoors, the two piece art rockers have capitalised on the track’s success with a string of packed out shows and stellar support slots up and down the UK.
