The NGUVU nation once again returns to Jimmy’s Liverpool, as they continue their quest to spread the Glory of Grooving with yet another Jam-packed Jam at Jimmy’s

Joining them this time will be Songwriter, Martin Fletcher and his superb band, and the Return of the ever unorthodox Armchair Captains.

About NGUVU

NGUVU is a 7-Piece Mancunian Jazz-Soul Fusion that embodies elements of Funk, Rock, and Hip-Hop. The band was founded and led by Drummer, MC, and composer Jamal Lewis-Service. Their sound is very reminiscent of (but not limited to) the Street-Soul Sound of 1980s Moss Side Manchester, with influences from the late great Diane Charlemagne, Brand New Heavies, and Rufus, a sound that is rarely heard of in modern Manchester Music. A mixture of The Old school Funk with the Modernity of Neo-Soul with a pinch of Rock edge would be the best way to describe their sound.
