Aaron Spencer is a Liverpool based Singer-Songwriter. Taking inspiration from living in the North-West, Spencer tells his own stories based on personal experience, night out observations and social commentary. With a unique marriage of Strokes-esque riffs and northern, working class, indie rock charm, Aaron Spencer has carved out a niche for himself.
Latest single ‘Where Are You Now’ marks a fresh sound for Spencer as he explains “The song channels more of an 80s feel compared to my previous releases while retaining a punk rock vibe, meanwhile it sounds contemporary with references to modern life.”
A proud Cumbrian, Aaron Spencer is based in Liverpool as he pursues his dream of a music career. Spencer launched himself as a solo musician in 2020 with the successful release of his debut ‘Sticky Dancefloor’ and second single ‘Flower’ which received praise from CLOUT, RGM, as well as getting added to ‘Best New Bands’ Spotify playlist curated by This Feeling.
Spencer’s songwriting has been described as “Classy” and “the kind of songs you could have expected from Arctic Monkeys and Courteeners” – RGM
‘Flower’ – “As catchy as the track may be, there’s a depth to its theme that is both observational and sympathetic.” – RGM.
‘Sticky Dancefloor’ – “An ode to the North of England” – CLOUT
Spencer’s long term goals include playing major festivals, touring the UK and selling out venues up & down the country
