Louder Than War Presents… The Novus | Piss Kitti | The Battery Farm
Showcasing the best new bands and artists at the best small venues, the Louder Than War Presents… brand leaves its Blackpool home for the first time to make a debut in Liverpool.
The Novus:
Following their triumphant socially distanced debut at The Waterloo, Blackpool in 2020, The Novus become the first band to be invited to play a second Louder Than War Presents show… as part of a nationwide headline tour
Art-Punk band – The Novus are their own breed of excitement.
The 3 lads, henchmen: Guardians of their own music. Hard hitting drums pave the way for the revolution as they push against the walls with their guitars, making 2 sound like 12 in the smallest of rooms or the greatest of stadiums – creating a wall of encapsulating sound.
Fronted by ringleader, Connor, who has the ability to to captivate any audience, forcing them to explode with his infectious energy. When he isn’t jumping round like a maniac he’s holding his haunting gaze over the crowd, almost indoctrinating them, spitting his lyrics like the gospel.
Piss Kitti:
Piss Kitti elbowed their way to the front of the Liverpool music scene in 2019 and have been confronting crowds with their feverish set and unforgiving attitude.
Igniting conversations about sex, queerness and gender, Piss Kitti serve up erotic-driven chaos with a sense of humour.
The Battery Farm:
The Battery Farm; a Gutter Punk four-piece from Manchester playing punishing, pulverising
rock music brimming with pain and passion.
The Band was formed in March 2019 by brothers Ben and Dominic Corry. It was formed as a cry of despair; a terrified and furious response to a world that rapidly seems to be going wrong. This is reflected in the sound of the band which is frantic, visceral and violent but also laced with beauty and melody.
Their sound has been compared to bands like PIL, Fugazi and Pere Ubu while maintaining something thrillingly real, original and human.
‘The Battery Farm go from strength to strength and I reckon it may be their time to shine…’ Wayne Carey (Louder Than War)
