Wirral-based alternative rock group The Causeways released their debut single Quietly in November 2020, walking a line between indie pop and mellow rock. Now, they’re pushing boundaries to develop their own alternative sound.
The Causeways have influences that are clear to see, with Merseyside acts such as The Coral and The Beatles being two big bands that the quartet draws inspiration from. A more comparable band would be The Kooks as The Causeways too have acoustic guitars wrapped up in warm vocals with a distinctive sound that has a hazy and yet vibrant tone.
ROSELLAS – Manchester based guitar band for fans of DMA’s, The Smiths, Oasis, Night Cafe, the La’s, Shack, Stone Roses. A load of guitars, in a world full of synth. Rosellas give a cheeky nod to the bands of 90’s Manchester whilst drawing sonic comparisons to The Verve, The Stone Roses, also channelling influence from such bands’ modern day counterparts like DMA’s with a melodic sophisticated edge. Their progression has been exciting, going from playing small pub gigs to being booked for festivals such as Y Not Festival and Isle of White in less than a year as well as supporting & playing with high-profile bands like Blossoms, Liam Gallagher and Fontaines DC, things are looking up for the 5 Manchester lads. 2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year. www.rosellasband.com / https://linktr.ee/rosellasband
